Remodeled Sanctuary Rededicated

On Sunday December 19th, 2010, Watkinsville First Christian Church rededicated their sanctuary after an extensive remodeling project. The church voted to do the work on Sunday, September 12th, and work started the next day.

The rededication service took place as part of the regular morning worship service, and was officiated by The Rev. Douglas M. Ivey, Senior Pastor, and The Rev. Dr. Hoyt Huff, Regional Elder. Dr. Huff also brought a word of greeting on behalf of the region. The chair of the renovation study committee was Russell Lee, and the sanctuary renovation committee was chaired by Steve Finnerty.
