Friday Night
The 2009 Regional Assembly began on Friday afternoon with
a Clergy Gathering where Jamie Brame of Christmount led a session on clergy
sabbaticals. Following the clergy, the Regional Board met and then
a wonderful Dinner hosted by Cherry Log Christian Church.
During Dinner, Regional Minister Rev. Ray Miles presented
certificates to congregations for growth in membership and for Disciples
Mission Fund giving. Ray pointed out that most of the certificates
handed out were for 10% growth as a percentage of worship attendance which
is a very positive sign!

congregational awards.

Were you at the Assembly? See if you can find yourself
in these photos.
After Dinner it was time for fellowship and a chance to
check out the book display and various display boards before worship.
